WHAT DOES TILT AND TURN WINDOWS MEAN?
- Tilt and Turn uPVC Windows combine the functions for high energy efficiency, sound proofing as well as protection from all kinds of weather conditions.
- A tilt and turn window fundamentally opens on two axis. In the tilt position, the window tilts inwards into the room – remaining fixed at the base. This allows ventilation but keeping a good level of security and also shielding off rain.
- Safe ventilation – with windows tilting inward, they can be used to ventilate in bad weather and be opened with lesser risk of break in. The tilt function usually opens up to 4″ so not enough room to climb of reach through.
- The turn function is operated by putting the window handle in the 2nd of its two positions. This allows the window to be cleaned from the inside of the building (opening inward)
Thermal insulation & soundroofing
Thermo Comfort Glass is produced by adding a special layer of silver, which reflects infrared light and helps maintain a comfortable temperature. The silver layer is so thin that it does not affect the light transmissivity of the glass.
Broga Tilt and Turn windows are available with three different types of glass pane: double-pane glass, triple-pane glass, and triple glass lowsound. The glass is hermetically sealed to the window frame, the number of layers and properties create a shield from outdoor noises, such as cars, trains, planes and others. Nothing will disturb you and your family´s sleep.
Window opening limit brace
Window opening limit braces fixe the window sash (or door) in different positions and ensure absolute stabilization when open. Both are completely invisible when the window is closed, easy to install and have a long service life.

If you need to fix the window sash in any position you wish, we recommend to choose the Premium Blocker. It works like door in Rolls Roys: just open the window in position you need and the sash will be fixed automatically.
